    Just like the title says, do new Thinkpads (T61, in particular) come with the collection of different trackpoint caps still?

    They should. My X61 came with all three types of caps as well.

    not sure about the t61's - but I know you can buy a couple trackpoint caps on ebay for $4-5 total all day long. avoid the guys selling them for like $30, though

    Yea they come with the "Classic" cat's tounge cap, the "Dome" cap, and the "cup" shaped one.

    I wasn't sure as one of the options for a new T61 was a trackpoint bundle. I might buy it anyway if I go the T61 route to have some backups.

    If you look on ebay, they have blue colored caps, I think a few other colors as well. You might be interested.

    I got nil with my X61 :( Then again, never did I get any with any of my 3 previous thinkpads neither. Maybe I get to exceited when I open the box and dump em by mistake :p
