    Just to let you guys know, Lenovo has released a few updates recently -

    Power Manager (Utility + Driver.
    -(New) Add Advanced Settings for Lid Closed Action. (This is nice - I dont know if it was there before this new update, but now I can close my lid and it can automatically lock it -- equivalent to Windows Key + L. And if I set it to standby i can set a delay so that it doesn't go to standby if i accidentally close my lid or just move it to another place for a quick moment)
    -(New) Add Automatic Optical Drive Power Off. <-- I dont see this in my Power Manager - maybe is it available only on the X300? Can anyone confirm?
    Intel Matrix Storage Driver
    Access Connections (I dont use this anymore, but still is an update)

    Link to System Update is below, as well as making your own Update RSS feed particular to your model.

    hi,

    yes i can confirm the new updates, if have installed them.

    Everything workes fine.
    But it seems that lenovo have rejected the Updates now.

    Except you have to reactivate the c4 powerstates when running on battery.

    I use RMClock for managing my CPU's power states, so I dont worry about that.

    @acaurora

    yes, but i don´t use RmClock, because the lenovo Powermanager offers some
    covered energieprofiles too, so my book is nearly inaudible in normal use.

    That´s why i use PManager.

    You can use both, you know. RMClock for doing CPU power control and Power Manager for all the other functions.
