    Have a question for the just release X1 carbon.
    Will the battery slice work with it for an extended battery?
    I don't see it as an accessory however it would be the perfect laptop to have the slice.
    If not I'll have to go for the Sony Vaio ultra with a slice battery.

    If you need long runtime you may want to check out the fujitsu s904. Not so slim but has a huge battery and an optional second battery (in place of the rom drive).

    Edit: Or check out the t440s, also not so slim but with powerbridge and spare batteries you could keep going for long enough.
