So I just ordered my Y580 today with the 32gb Msata SSD and plan on replacing the HDD with a SATA III SSD. From what I have read the OS and some other files are on the Msata and I would like to have the SATA III SSD store other files like games, videos and pretty much what the HDD does. Is there anything special I need to do to do this? I plan on cloning stuff to the HDD as backup. How hard is it to clone files from the Msata to the HDD just in case something goes wrong with the Msata?

I plan on keeping the Disc reader as well and have the HDD as an external hard drive.
