    Hello Forum,

Had a Yoga 2 Pro i7/8GB/256 SDD that was getting 6~7 hours or even 8 on airplane mode. It bricked.

Lenovo replaced it with a Yoga 2 Pro i7/8GB/512 SSD due to prolonged repair (2 months) and back ordered parts.

The new Yoga 2 Pro is getting 4.5~5 hours. Same user, usage style, software, power settings, and same hardware other than a 256 vs 512 SSD. Drivers are updated.

Any thoughts on what might be different? How can I improve the battery life up to the old one?

    Thanks,
    Is this fun

Perhaps Lenovo applied that "fix" for the bad yellow issue ?

Supposedly the fix is related to power management.

I'm sure you'll say 'yes', but are you running at the same resolution? Decreasing the resolution is supposed to increase battery life.

    Thanks for the replies.

Unless there was a yellow fix in the last 2 months, the drivers are the same.

On res: yes, still at max res.
