I missed the christmas sale and was wondering if Lenovo/IBM will be having any sales in the near future on the thinkpads?

I could imagine they may want to get rid of some inventory once the new Intel Platform comes out - later in Q1.

Also keep an eye out for them offering deals on XP loaded machines they have in inventory once Vista hits at the end of the month.

I'd imagine once Vista is out, the Vista upgrade coupon won't be available anymore, right?

I am wanting a z61t but at that price I can get a machine with better specs refurbed, with 3 year warranty, on ebay for a few hundred less if I wanted to order a z60t.

Anyone have any idea when Lenovo notebooks will come shipped with Vista pre-loaded?

I wonder if Lenovo really has many notebooks with XP preinstalled. Most ThinkPads seem to be built-to-order.
