    New improved Bluetooth 4.0 W7 driver (BCM) 6.51.6740

    If you want a very innovative way to improve Bluetooth 4.0 on T430, T530 and earlier thinkpads updated with bluetooth 4.0 modules consider installing the 6.51.6740 driver!!

    The last "official" Lenovo bluetooth driver 4.0 for T430, T530, T430x, Thinkpad X1 computers is 6.51.4500.
    If you have older thinkpads with the 4.0 module you can also install 6.51.4500 driver.
    Over the years I have suffered some minor issues, especially with remote mouse and (apple) keyboards that repeat keystrokes with this driver.

    Now if you search Lenovo support site you will find: 73bc02wf.exe
    Bluetooth (Atheros, Realtek, Broadcom) Driver for Windows 7 (64-bit) - Lenovo B41-30, B51-30 laptop

    This package contains the BCM 6.51.6740 driver!
    This driver can be used to upgrade all Thinkpads with bluetooth 4 module!
    Ie T430 generation or older which has the upgraded Thinkpad 4 module!

    The file package 73bc02wf.exe unpacks in C:\DRIVERS\Bluetooth Driver (Atheros, Realtek, Broadcom)
    Go to the Broadcom folder, start setup.exe and you will be asked if you want to upgrade to the new version!
    It provides current functionality and seems more stable for me.
    I have successfully used it on:
    Thinkpad X1 (original, upgraded with Bluetooth 4)
    T430s
    T430

    I also plan to install it on a T530.

    So far it very happy!
    It can now read the battery on my Lenovo 700 BT mouse.
    BT can now wake the computer!
