I want to buy a new laptop with 256 mb video card dedicate. I would want hi it faster than my T7700. Available options on ebay:

    1) T61P T9500, 4g, 250HD, WSXGA, nVDIA QUADRO 570, FP, BT $1600 (new)
    2) T61P T7800, 4g, 100HD, WUXGA, nVDIA QUADRO 570, FP, BT $1500 (refurbished ibmfactoryoutlet) (These units are Sealed that may be opened for RAM upgrades)

    am I undecided which take?

    Thanks

    - T7800 is one of the older processors
    - T9500 is one of the newer penrynn processors that came with Centrino 2
    - You could consider P8400 or P8600 if there's an option to select them....they are as new as T9500 too but the consume less energy

Take the first one. No question about it. WUXGA is great, but not neccessary.
