I was disappointed to learn that lenovo would not be continuing it's traditional style keyboard, like the one found on the x220 and other t series models. I was waiting on a deal for the x220,which are pretty cheap now, but since the arrival of the x230 with ivy bridge, it seems like a better buy. The only thing that worries me is the new chiclet style keyboard. If anyone who has had a traditional style lenovo keyboard and now uses the newer style, can you tell me the differences and which you prefer? Thanks, in the mean time i will try to find a display model of the newer keyboard laptop.

some will say they like the traditional one, some will say they like the newer one, some will say they don't care. I am of the third camp (having used both) and don't understand what the fuss is about.
