Sorry another query ... maybe one to Jon Lumpkin ... I read a few old threads. I have bought a Samsung NC10 netbook and I have no clue where they get teh screens manufactured but they are beautiful matte & bright, and great video playback (well no HD on netbooks I think). Now I still would like a European X200s with the CCFL screen but have not been able to verify the screen problem with video playback ... Jon you mentioned that maybe in Ubuntu there is no such problem? Is there any up-date on the issue from Lenovo or just the same as it was a few months back? The netbook is fine for the interim but the screen is too small, and I need some more power.
