The tabook has list of new z61ts. tabook

I was wondering if anyone has any idea about the screen brightness difference between 185 and 200 nits.

z60t used to have 1280x768 WXGA with 200 nits
z61t has options of 1280x800 WXGA with 185 nits or
    1440x900 WXGA+ with 200 nits

Also, any idea What's the WORKHORSE (W) or GBL (G) stands for in the tabook for any laptops?

I would think 15 nits would not be that much of a difference. Both kinda dull if you ask me. The 300nit maxbright is very, very bright.

On a side note, Anybody know why lenovo is putting up systems then taking them down the next day? This is getting old.

Does the Z61T/M have a shiny or matt screen?

    Not yet....

I called couple of times and I hear different stories from different reps. One is saying that it's back ordered and it's going to take atleast 6-8 weeks. Another person said it should be shipping out as scheduled which is June 8th and the last person I talked with today, told me that it's in production but shipping is delayed to June 15th now.... which is good news for me since I will be gone on Jun 7th for about a week...

Anyone has any idea, how long does it usually take after Lenovo ships the product?

I ordered mine on May 25th and received a ship date of May 31st. The 31st came and the date changed to June 1st. It's now June 1st and the new ship date is June 2nd.

Lenovo's been so screwed up the last few weeks (website, billing, shipping, CSRs, etc.) I'll be shocked if my laptop ships anytime before September. I may just cancel the order and buy a MacBook.

It is too bad, supply always seems to be an issue with Lenovo and IBM before them.

When I spoke to a CSR a couple of weeks ago regarding these new laptops, he told me the leadtime was 8-12 weeks. 8-12 weeks! And yet I still ordered one. Sheesh!

Atraya, which laptop did you order?

I don't see anything changed on my order status, it's showing the same info since day one which is IN PROCESSIONG and EST Shipping Date Jun 8th.

Is there any other way to find out what's current order stage ?
