I have a T61P, and so happened that my WUXGA screen has dead pixels ( 15 dead ones - had to use a magnifying glass to count them). I have the onsite next business day warranty, but Lenovo Australia is saying that they don't have the parts in stock, so I have to wait (indefinately) - their technician would call me when they have the stock.
Do you think I would be able to get any compensation from them for the delays?? Whats the point of buying next business day, and they can't provide the level of support that you purchased?

Suggestions anybody?

Wait til the part comes into stock.

I'm sure the warranty agreement says "subject to parts availability." So you're gonna just need to take a breath...and wait.

Yups! Just called up Lenovo, and they said.. if you read the fine print... "its subject to parts availability". Glad its just a few dead pixels and not a major failure like hard disk or something like that... *sigh...*
Next Business Day Warranty - (I don't think so)
