Last month, we learned that the Lenovo ‘roadmap’ says that the next _major_ X2__s upgrade will be called the X210s, will use the Calpella Centrino, and will start its roll-out in Q1 2010.

    See http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/19/leaked-lenovo-roadmap-shows-calpella-laptops-coming-january-2010/.

But every September, Lenovo (or IBM) seems to roll out upgrades for the academic year and holidays.

Is there any additional or more recent info available about whether there will be an X201s before the X210s?

    tia :)

There aren't really any major upgrades out there at the moment that would cause Lenovo to change the designation of the X200 to the X201.

Lenovo had new models for the school year because that was when Intel released the new Montevina platform last year. But, Intel has delayed the Calpella release until Q4 this year, so the X210s (as it will be called, since Lenovo has decided to use that number incrementing system) will likely be released then.
