If I press too hard on the nipple it acts like a left click. The real problem is that when it makes this click it immoblizes the mouse for almost 1 second. Can I disable this or am I stuck with it?

Go to Control Panel > Mouse > UltraNav tab

    The settings are all there.

Control Panel > Mouse > UltraNav > Settings > Uncheck "Enable Press-to-Select". Worked for me.

    Edit: Dammit, Arkitekt ;)

I have never been able to do this with my nipple. How hard are you pressing? Be careful not to break anything.

That's normal. Just wipe it off with a cloth or something and you're good to go.

Yea it's normal, it won't hurt your screen any. If you prefer not having to wipe it all the time, just put a piece of cloth between the computer before you close the lid. :)

Me either. You are saying if you push the nipple down hard enough it acts as a left click? I may have to try it later.......boy does that sound odd......... :p

I don't think the amount of pressure determines anything. The pressure to perform press-to-select is constant, the only setting I see that you can adjust is the speed of which you can press it.

I think it's because it's not a well-known option. If you enable Press-to-Select, you gain that functionality. I only figured this out because it was enabled on my dad's T40, and he wanted me to disable it.

I will have to check that out when I get the time. Although I still prefer the touchpad over the nipple.
