There was another thread on this, and he claimed it fixed it for him. It did not for me.

I added the following 2 lines to tp4table.dat (located in C:/Windows/System32). Make sure to insert it under the "Pass 0 rules (These rules run first)" header.

    ; iTunes
    *,*,iTunes.exe,*,*,*,Wheelstd,0,9

If you want you can replace that section with mine.

I get this when I try to edit any of the .dat files. My t4table.dat files are located in the folder in the pic and in the synaptics folder.

You are trying to edit the wrong file. Edit the one in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. If you installed the Lenovo Trackpoint driver you will have a t4table.dat in the folder mentioned above.

I wasn't able to find that file either. I had the same problem as hja87. Does that mean that my trackpoint drivers aren't installed...I will have to investigate more tomorrow.

It may be because I have an X61s with only a trackpoint.

In Vista Ultimate x64 I had to take ownership of the file, then add myself to the list of users while adding full edit capability to my ID. Then I edited the file, but it still did not serve to fix my itunes scrolling.
