I want that 2623D6U but we don't have it for sale in Canada :/ Any thoughts on how I can get that price? From the US website, I added it to my cart but the shipping information didn't have a selection for country, it was stuck on USA.

If you are going to be paying using a visa card, you are in luck. I too was rather annoyed with the fact that the Americans get (seemingly good) back-to-school specials, while we in Canada are left out. Nevertheless, through visaperks, you can get significant discounts!
The link,

I believe that you will like the pricing far more than the regular pricing. -
Thanks!
But it's still not the same.
The US T60 2623D6U is $1399USD ~ 1,597.99 CAD + Tax
The Canadian T60 2623D6U through VISA is $1844 CAD + Tax!
Moreover, the Canadian 2623D6U makes you pay extra to get Wireless???

The Lenovo Canada website seems fraught with errors and inconsistancies. I believe that the 2623D6U does in fact have wireless.
For proof, look at the link below,
http://www-131.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/s...yId=2049168&dualCurrId=1000075&catalogId=-124
To see, scroll down about half way down the page to "Wireless Networking Components".
Also, I suggest trying to call Lenovo. The number for their Canadian sales is 1-877-884-4658. I do caution you that finding a knowledgable rep is a bit of luck. If you get the feeling that the rep is useless, call in some time and you may find a good one. Remember to keep the number of the good one though! -
Actually, extended warranties cost significantly less on the canadian site than the US site.
So overall not a huge difference. Plus, if you buy it in canada your machine will have Canada on the warranty registration. The import will say US, so if you send it in for fixing, it'll just sit there for months possibly? -
Rick seems knowledgeable. As a woman it pains me to say that there's a couple of ladies there who are cluess and give WRONG info... if a lady answers, hang up and call back
No Thinkpad Back-to-school sale in Canada?
