    No US Lenovo online Warranty Registration?

    When i go to Lenovos website to register a product for it's warranty enter in all my info etc when i go to select country US..united States...etc or any variation their of is not select able on the list. What gives?

    Do you even need to register? I've bought many used Lenovo's with 3-yr warranties and had issues with two machines. Called up Lenovo, gave them the serial number, warranty was validated and machine fixed in 48 hrs.

    I guess there is a reason to properly register, but I have never done it as the warranty is tied to the machine itself, not the owner.

    I received an email after I ordered my x230 saying that they activated my warranty for me.
    OP: Did you buy/get the warranty when you bought the laptop or afterwords?

    The warranty follows the machine, not the buyer. This is why you can look the warranty up. No registration is required.

    Only thing is I did lookup the warranty and it is activated however it's 30 days shorter then it should be... So should I just contact support then?
