    hey everyone

I have had this lenovo y410 for about 2 months now, everything has been great. Just the other day though I stopped getting audio out of my headphone jack. I use my s-video jack to watch TV from the laptop and when I use the headphone jack to connect the TV audio it works fine. I change the settings from Extended to single display when I am done and plug in the headphones and nothing comes out. I have done system restore, reinstall of drivers. I called Lenovo but they wont look at it because I took Vista off(complete format of Hard drive) and put XP on, I would have to reinstall Vista for them to take it, and I refuse to do so.

Has anyone out there had this problem? Any suggestions or help or something that can make it work would be awsome. Thanks for the help!
