    No audio on my R61i

    I have researched this problem over and over on this site and the Lenovo site and am still not able to get sound on my notebook. Here's the problem:

    After installing the vista service pack 1 there is now a red cross over the audio and it says no audio output device is installed (the Conexant High Definition Sound card is listed under devices). I tried reinstalling as suggested this link,
