So I was looking at the Lenovo website, and it seems like they removed the built-in camera?

However, looking at the front page it lists:

    Display type
12.1 WXGA (1280x800), 2x2 UltraConnect II antenna , WWAN, Camera

But when I configure the system it states:

Display type: 12.1 WXGA (1280x800), 2x3 UltraConnect II antenna

I did a chat with a sales rep, and she said it was not an option? :(

Anyone out there been able to recently purchase an X200 with built-in camera? How?

Hmm...all the x200's have had webcams. It might just be a typo in their system and website. But hopefully someone who's recently ordered can get back to you.

    99% sure it's still there.

When I ordered my x200.. it basically wasn't on the order screen or my final specs. Also, even some lenovo sells rep told me they don't offer it at the moment (which means they didn't bother finding out for me). If you get a good rep they'll do the research for you and he found out they just made it a standard so it didn't show up / the developers didn't get a chance to change it yet.

THis is probably the same case where they changed something on the ordering page and haven't had the chance to put it back on properly.

If you want to be have something written as proof (which i did)... go onto the lenovo chat and ask them about it.. and once they confirm there is a webcam, ask them to e-mail you the chat transcript so that you have proof. Or you can also call them and tell them to e-mail you for proof.
