I had seen a Lenovo video a couple of weeks ago talking about the ThinkVantage system recovery options. It mentioned a tool call Base Software Selector, I believe, that allowed the user to configure the Windows environment to be restored, selecting or deselecting the software to be included. The user could use BSS to prevent any of the bloatware from being loaded.

Now I read on the Lenovo forums that the BSS tool has been removed. Bummer. That was one particular feature I was really looking forward to using.

Seconded. This is something I expect from Lenovo.
