    Is it the Icon or the task bar indication.

    If its the taskbar indication go into properties and set it to always hidden.

    As for the Icon delete or cut paste to somewhere else.

    Try right clicking, select display. Then File...Hide?

    It is XP.
    No option to delete.
    No option to hide.
    Its a mystery.

    You can remove that icon by 2 ways. The easiest way is to download Microsoft Power Toys (Tweak UI). All you need do then is run it, go to "Desktop," and uncheck the bluetooth icon. It will be gone.

    The second option is to delete it from the registry via regedit. I don't offhand know the correct key but you can likely find that out via google. The first option is probably the simplest way to do it.

    Yep, great tip. TweakUI does the trick. Unfortunately, I don't think the Vista version does that though...
