No price protection policy in Canada? Fine. How about the restocking fee?

Hi. Is there anyone ever deal with the price protection policy of Lenovo Canada?

The story is I got a better quote using the new coupon on the exact same configuration compared to what I have ordered previousely in 21 days. It is around $70 cad cheaper. I called the customer service, and was told that there is no price protection policy in Lenovo Canada. It's only for US, so they can't do price match.

So I ask about what if I order a new system not to be the same configuration but then return the previous order in a sealed untouch status. Will I get a restocking fee charged? The answer is YES, I have to pay the restocking fee? What....

Is this true? I had made two different calls two days ago about the restocking fee. And they all told me I don't have to pay the fee if I order a new one but return the previous order in a sealed condition?

Can someone shade me some light? Thanks.
