All of a sudden, I don't have sound coming out of my T60! I think I played a regular, store bought music CD a week or so ago, and it worked fine. I usually keep the sound on mute.

I've checked the sounds in control panel, i'm sure mute is off. How can i get the sound back?

    Thanks!

Try plugging in headphones into audio out port. It should help issolate problem whether it is your speakers or your comp.

SImilar thing happend to me on my dell e1705. The sound suddenly went away, but I could still get sound through the audio out. Further more, when I installed OpenSolaris, teh sound worked fine, but the sound still did not played when I used Vista. It is just weird. Just through, that maybe you are experiencing similar problem, although with different product model.

Could try a LinuxLive CD to see if it's a hardware or software issue.
