    No webcam option for X220

    Soon to order a new laptop. No webcam option on the X220.

    What gives?

    don't choose 3 antennas and you can select webcam

    The camera option would not be available if you have chosen the 3x3 antenna display.

    This is because the third antenna physically occupies the space required for the camera. The only reason for 3x3 antenna display is to get the most out of the Intel 6300 wireless card.

    I went with the 2x2 antenna display along with Intel 6205 wireless card so that I can have the camera.

    Select the 2x2 antenna option.

    Make sure you pick the 3rd option down, the Premium display with 2x2 antenna, not the regular HD display with 2x2 antenna. The Premium/IPS display and is significantly better quality than the stock screen. Not an upgrade you'd want to skip.
