    Noise and Clicking after Restart, started after clean install.

    I started a clean install and afterwards after a restart I hear 3 clicking noises and 3 sounds just as the laptop loads the bios and just before windows loads. It didn't do this before. Anyone know how to fix this.

    had a similar problem on and off on my X200. i don't worry about it right now - does yours happen every time?

    i got the clicking sound on my x61 as well.
    it's gone after installing the Matrix Storage Manager Driver.

    in your case, u need the Turbo Memory Driver
