    Noise from my T60 screen.

    I just got my laptopl , here are the issue:
    1. BIOS. 2.05, never seen before.
    2. Fan will run for every 5 mins or so
    3. BIG PROBLEM. then I lower the brightness of LCD screen, I can hear"Zzzzz" sound from my SCreen. maybe from back of the screen, maybe from other parts of screen. Is there any solution to solve it?

    Is it constant sound or at some event?
    I have T60 with bios 2.06 (11/20/2006). It makes zzzzz noise when moving window or scroll the content (the more contrast the louder sound)....
    Sound comed from left side of the notebook....

    werid hum? me is 2.05(11/20/2006)
    mine is constant sound if I lower down screen brightness.and it is easy to notice that. I think your issue is easier to slove than mine. Thinkpads.com has addressed ur problem there.
