    When is Lenovo going to release T61's that are not Widescreen?

    That's the question that many of us would love to have answered. My guess is NOT June 5th. :D

    It looks like it's definitely coming though. Will be SXGA+, 14.1" 4:3 screen. What I want to know is if it will also have the off centered screen. What I'm really waiting for is the T61p in 4:3, but my patience is wearing thin. Will probably settle with T60p 4:3 if June 5th is a dud. I just hope they don't pull the T60p in 4:3 by then, cuz I know it's a limited time offering.

    I think you'll be able to get those for awhile, there's no shortage of parts to build them. It's just the flexview screens that are in short supply.

    What i dont understand is, why no bluetooth on the T60p? I never saw a thinkpad p without bluetooth since the T3x series.

    There's no word on release date that I heard of, and in fact I believe Lenovo is still unsure on when exactly they'll be able to announce -- so, in other words, not anytime soon. It also might be that they offer the regular 14" via their business channel first before putting it on the web for others to order.

    Well last I was told by this one rep at Lenovo who was really helpful was that it would in fact be out June 5th. But I must admit, I didn't want to wait and take a chance so I order a T60 (which was built and arrived in less than a week). Very happy with it though.

    14.1" 4:3 already released in Europe. It should be available for the US soon. The Europe model only has XGA for now though.

    who cares if it's released
    they won't ship any until june 30th, oh wait, july 30th, no, i bet Lenovo will "guarantee" it'll get shipped by sept. :)
