    i'm envious...

darn it, the z60m is still in very limited supply here in my country (philippines) if it's already available here i should have bouth that unit instead of the Asus A6 series (Pentium M 780, 1gb ddr2, 100gb hd, dvd multiwriter, x600 graphics, 15.4"wxga, built in cam and mic, bluetooth, wifi, 3-in-1 card reader)

I think the Z60M's are in pretty good demand. It may take some time to receive it.

I hope they don't cancel the order for lack of supply. :(

If they do, I hope they do so while there is still time for Plan B (25% off)

$1844. You know how many kids you can feed for a whole year in poor country with that kinda money?!?!?!?! A lot! But then again, it's a beauty and the beast at the same time and no one can resist it. i'm almost jealous.

Quicker than I expected based on other posts I've read.

Congrats on the machine. If I was in the market for a larger (IMO) 15.4" desktop replacement/occational travels, I would definately be taking a look at that machine. Actually, in the review done on this site, three notebooks are compared, included this one, as well as a 14.1" notebook which is also appealing. This machine has a nice display (brightest I have heard out of the ThinkPad line), but the 14" one not as good. As the screen is the part of the notebook one will be staring at 99% of the time the notebook is in use, it is a must that the screen satisfies one's needs. Therefore, I didn't take too much interest in the 14" widescreen offered by IBM.

Nevertheless, great deal. I've seen a few good deals offered through AE and IBM.
