Did anyone else receive this update yesterday via windows update for the 140m? It was 50mb big so I am assuming it helped with something. Does anyone know what this fixed?

its an optional update so it should not have gotten sent to you unless you clicked the box for it. i never trust the drivers from windows update personally.

umm yeaa. I wish I would have taken that advice. I now experience sluggishness 100% of the time in the menus of CSsource and HL2. It was fine before and can play both games fine. I mean there hasn't really been any updatesfor the 140m on vista so i figured it could be important, I dont think thats hard to understand if your a 140m owner.

install the bioshock drivers from www.laptopvideo2go.com and see how those run.

Yes try the drivers that ocellaris is suggesting you will have to read their FAQ and figure out how to go about it, but those are the 140M drivers I'm using and they are the best I've found whether you are running bioshock or not.

I am using the driver in this update. It is good! Even faster than 165.01, with none of the problems. I was using 163.44 and the previous stock Lenovo driver.
Unless this thing starts burping, I will stick with this.Attached Files:

Windows Experience score is basically useless, so do not worry about that.
