I noticed there are new drivers for the 570m on the Nvidia site but not on Lenovo. Is it a good idea to install the driver from nvidia or wait until Lenovo releases there version?

It's pointless to wait around for Lenovo. If nvidia releases a driver, then it's good enough to put on your computer.

I agree with adinu, pc vendors usually update their drivers much less than nvidia itself. Anyways there is a driver on the lenovo website. It's both for the 140m and the 570m.
Refer to the graphics card section of the forum for really exhaustive information on drivers and such
