I've decided that since there aren't many benchmarks with the Nvidia NVS 3100m graphics chip I would create a thread and update it as I test more games.![]()
Note: For each game I fired them up and played a bit for testing purposes. I did not play the entire game through and can not comment on how well the machine can handle later levels in the game.
Games
- Left 4 Dead 2: 25-35fps (medium)
- Far Cry 2: 20-30fps (low)
- Counter Strike Source: 30-40fps (high)
- 007 BloodStone: 10-20fps (low)
- Dead Space: 25-35fps (medium)
- Killing Floor: 20-40fps (medium)
- PREY: 20-60fps (high)
- Crysis 2 Demo: 0-5fps (low)
All tested at 1440x900 resolution.
If you have any data to add please post below and I will add it to the list.

Stay on topic. This thread is for NVS 3100M gaming benchmark feedback only. If you want to complain about the lack of high power GPUs in business laptops, do so elsewhere. Further off-topic posts will receive formal warnings for trolling. Thank you.
@OP: You may want to specify what resolution these games are played at. Native 1440x900? 1280x800? -
Also yes the benchmarks have been run at native resolution on my system (1440x900). -
I will be adding some benchmarks of Full-HD older games as soon as I get everything set up...

Any one tried overclocking the NVS3100M? Any success with newer and/or 310M drivers?

I have running Modern Warefare 3 on default settings on my highest resolution of 1366 x768 on my laptop and the game runs great
Just because some people say well this card cannot run anything hard remotely 3D doesnt mean it wont work if they dont try it. I also play all the past CODs and Arkum Asylum also Crysis with no issues. Mine is an i5 with 512MB video card.

MW3 uses the same engine as MW2, which is pretty good and uses way much less resource than what BF3 requires
