    Here is what you need to do.
    go to
    http://www.euclidcomputers.com/device/laptop
    search for z61t or z61m, pick the laptop you need, get the part# and call lenovo EPP toll free number and tell them you need to buy that particular laptop. They will order it for you.
    It's not on the lenovo website because they ship only after 1 or 2 months.

    I wish I could help you. I was in the same situation. But I'm not an IBM employee and I can't provide the # without permission from the IBM guy who gave me this. I didn't even know him personally when I got the #. He is my on-site IBM technician.

    I was reading the EPP terms and conditions and found this:

    Returns

    In order to continue providing Lenovo/IBM employees with the lowest pricing possible on our line of Notebooks, Desktops and accessories, Lenovo will not accept returns, exchanges or offer refunds on products purchased through the Employee Purchase Program.

    They must have just got rid of the 30 day return policy. I just returned an EPP notebook 2 months ago without a problem. This kinda sucks now.

    Does anyone know where do they make z series ???. I thought everything is made in china ???

    that sucks, mine is due to ship july 12, then 5-7 days shipping puts it here on the 17-19th, I leave the country on the 23rd...hrm. fingers crossed :)

    mine is scheduled for the 12th, but I leave the country on the 22nd leaving that little bit a very close call.

    I think most computer stuff are made in China now and the factories are owned by Taiwanese, Koreans, Japanese, etc.

    HK is the gateway to China so alot of export stuff especially factories near southern China uses that port. :)
