When I put my smartphone, in portrait mode, right side up, against the left side of my T520's screen, right above where the speaker is, the screen shuts down. Removing the phone results in the screen going back on.
    It is repeatable.
It does not happen if the phone is in landscape orientation, or when it is upside down.
Is it the interference from the antennae? Or is the phone shutting down the cooling system?
    Evil forces at play?
    Just curious..

Strange, but probably just interference between the phone and the unshielded display wires. It won't affect the cooling system.
