Looking at the dimensions of the official 15W sleeve online, it appears that there is too much room in this sleeve for a machine like the W510, and would not provide a secure fit. Does Lenovo make a sleeve that properly fits a W510? Does anyone else make sleeves for Thinkpads?

It's designed to accommodate the extended battery.

I have looked in the official lenovo product documents and I can't find any mention of the size difference between batteries. Only one laptop depth is listed anywhere in the specs for W510, 9.65", even when the options for both 6 and 9-cell batteries are listed. I'm not sure if there is an official documentation of the additional battery sizes, is there?

Has anyone tried the 15W with the W510 then?
