So, I got annoyed with the mic levels bouncing up and down while editing a separate source audio file in Cubase. I went to sound properties and disabled the microphone. I wrongly assumed that to disable a device so easily would mean enabling would be just as easy. Or, at least the device would show up in device manager with a yellow exclamation. Not so.

Any suggestions to enable this on-board microphne on a T400 running MSVista Ult SP1 would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.
