I did a clean install of Vista on my T60. Everything works fine except I can't seem to find the driver to show the on-screen volume display. I thought it would be under the "hotkey utility" but that only made the on-screen wireless/bluetooth work.
Does anyone have any idea how to get this working again?
Oh, and just to note...the buttons actually work fine. The volume goes up and down and the mute button works just fine. It's just that I no longer have the on-screen display to see how many volume bars I am at.

I was trying to find this as well. I thought it was the trackpoint accessibility features. When I uninstalled it they went away, but when I did a clean install on my R60 and installed it, nothing happened. Maybe I missed something or perhaps you need both.

Has anyone figure out how to fix this. I'm having the same problem as you guys. I installed the on-screen dispaly and the hotkey drivers. The buttons work you just don't see what they're doing on the screen

i just did a clean install yesterday, installed lenovo system interface driver, hot key and on screen display.
volume OSD works just fine, but I cant get the brightness to show still -
I got both my brightness and volume to show in vista
I had to get two things...one is the driver and another is a program. I forgot what they are exactly but you need BOTH.
It's in the vista clean install guide -

I have all OSD *except* for brightness. Can anyone confirm what needs to be installed/updated for this to work?

I had same problem, I uninstalled lenovo system interface driver then restarted and installed again which fixed the problem. If that doesnt work I would try the same thing with hotkey
