This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Kinda wish it had those little riser feet that my ancient Thinkpad 390 had. Does anyone know what I'm talkin'bout? A bit of lift is nice, especially with the Thinkpad's bigger than usual notebook keyboard.

    Yes, Also the X3x series had a second battery that did kinda the same thing. Made typing a bit more comfortable on a table.
