I went to check on any deals on a Yoga 13 on the Lenovo Outlet

    Only 1 popped up.

    A REFURB With 1215 Left !!

Smells like they have had problems, no?

I know their have been WIFI issues I wonder if that is what they are.

It could be a system glitch too, but I thought it was funny.

I saw that and was tempted at the price they had them. Finally made my mind up a minute ago to go ahead and they were all out.

Reload. They come back in stock every 30 minutes or so. There's like 300 right now. I got one. Selling my T420s. Just can't deal with the screen on it.

Been keeping an eye on the Outlet on and off. It would seem that they bumped the price up by about $100. The i3 is going for the same price that the i5 base was going for... Good luck to them on that ;-)

If I see a price similar to where they started, I will probably bite on it.

I agree their pricing algorithm seems odd. But, are you sure the i3 used to be selling for a lower price and then changed? I've been obsessively refreshing that page for days and i5 at the lower price do still come up - $639 for the 4GB/128GB model. The i3 I've seen have always been priced higher than similar i5.

If you are still in the market for an i5, I say keep hitting refresh. Try to think of it as fun...like playing a slot machine.

Oh, I've been refreshing and typing "Lenovo Outlet" in the Chrome address bar with an obsession that is probably close to Tourette's ;-) For me, it is tough justifying it with Haswell coming and the possibility of issues with WiFi connectivity in the older Yoga models.

Doesn't help that I am probably the stingiest, pickiest tech purchaser ever, lol.

Edit: In regards to the i3, I just started seeing them at the same price as the i5's, but I think your comment hit on a reason for that. I think the initial i5's had 4gb and now they seem to mostly have 8gb installed. Might be the reason for the sizable price jump.

It's a good price for the CPU, but considering the weight and HDD for the price, it's a bit overpriced still.

i5 Z580's sell for $400 or so in the outlet, so you're paying $220+ just to flip a touchscreen around. On the flip side, for a nicer tablet, even the Samsung Ativ at a higher price is a 'better' device. More suited for the touch use, more portable, etc.

Yeah, was considering waiting when they have an i7 on there, but it doesn't appear to be worth it in the long run according to comparisons.

I bought the Yoga from this deal and tried to cancel it one hour after buying. Of course that's impossible as Lenovo apparently has no way of stopping the shipping process (ridiculous). It was delivered Thursday, but I refused delivery when the UPS lady rang the doorbell. I had an RMA number from Lenovo and had her write it on the box.

I just couldn't risk having low powered wifi. I am in hotels a lot and if the computer has any trouble connecting to networks.
