UPDATE: This thread is asked to be closed, because I seriously messed up the poll options. A better one is recommended instead:

Apologies to owners of other great Thinkpads, but I am so curious about what OS is put on T series most, you can also tell why, and what do you use your T series Thinkpad for. It is an expensive (not so as before though) machine with premium quality (again, disputably not so as before) so it must warrant for some serious use, but what do I know. Discuss. Be honest, this will be used for flamewars at other sites ;-) Last option may be used for any OS that is not Windows or something on top of the Linux kernel.

Do you know what OS I really want to run on my upcoming T400? OS X.

Well, I dual boot Vista Business x64 and Kubuntu 8.04.1 x64. I can't vote in your poll since the choices are mutually exclusive :(

I might be trying other flavors of linux instead of Kubuntu. Currently trying to get Gentoo x64 up and running :)

For me, Windows for games and Linux for real work.

When I get my machine back from Lenovo (and if I keep it), I'll be running Vista, mostly for the on-the-fly switching between discrete and integrated graphics.

Sorry folks, seems that even though I used about 5 minutes to decide on poll options, it fell short still. I did not account for dual-boot setups. I honestly thought about including a Mac OS X too, but i am sure the percentage is so small it would stand for like under 1% of results.

Can you edit the poll or ask the mods to delete this one and start another with all options? As I use Vista x64 and Ubuntu x64.

This thread is now closed. Btw, you can always ask moderators to edit a poll for you.

    Thank you.
