Alright, I need some expert advice here. I used Partition Magic on my Z60m's hard drive (just picked it up thanks in part to the info on these forums. Thanks guys!). I divided the primary partition into 2 separate partitions, C, and D. (40GB and 50GB respectively). I left the 10GB restore partition totally alone. However, now it seems the boot loader can't find the OS anymore. How do I get the boot loader to again find the partition? In case it matters, the partition is positioned after the new D drive, at the end of the hard disk.

    Thoughts?

I used an Ultimate Boot CD that I used before windows loaded up to "activate" the hidden partition. You should still have that. After you do that, restart and next time it will go straight into the "restore options" that you would of been able to access had you not erased the bootloader menu.

basically use a partition manager to set the hidden partiton as a "active" instead of it not being accessed

Hmm... mine didn't come with any CD's at all... including this "Ultimate Boot CD" Sounds like that would solve my problem. Any way I can twist someone's arm to send me a copy? I'd be happy to pay for your time, and shipping...
