I have recently bought a thinkpad e520 with switchable graphics from lenovo and just found out that all Open GL applications can only recognise the intel integrated graphics which makes Open GL games barley playable.... I have been searching for a fix Everywhere please, please help... :(

This is a known problem caused by AMD's switchable technique. Only solution is an update of BIOS and/or GPU driver by Lenovo, to enable manual switching (as already done by HP and partially Dell). There's already a thread in the Lenovo forum or try Lenovo support directly. Hopefully they will do something. Although it doesn't seem so right now.
