It says "Intel Integrated Graphics 950" (GMA950) so it looks like they're clearing stock. Unless it's like the other thinkpad pages where the specs are just outdated, I'd say it might be a good deal in AUD, but I'd buy a laptop with x3100 instead. Current thinkpads are x3100 IIRC.

Sorry to sound like a noob, but what do you mean by x3100?

X3100 if you are interested is a big step up over the GMA950 that being said I'd still go for a T61 with discrete graphics. I wouldn't get a GMA950 if you paid me to anymore.

X3100 is the integrated graphics adapter built into the Santa Rosa chipset a big step up from the GMA 950 integrated graphics adapter. Integrated graphics means it uses part of system memory for graphics. Where as discrete has its own; much better than integrated.

...it all makes sense now, X3100 >GMA 950,

What caught my eye though was that its a T60 WIDESCREEN???
I've never heard of that before till i saw this offer. Was it a popular model overseas?

Palmag the X3100 is literally worth it on its own over the GMA 950...

I think I'll skip this offer and save up for the after Christmas sale, I may be able to pick up a T61 instead with X3100.

Don't forget the outlet or an R61 which now has the same roll cage as the T series boxes.

I saw an R61 in " the plastic" at my local reseller, I did'nt like the form factor, looked too much like a biffed up R60, is the T61 thinner and slimmer than the R61 or are they about the same?
