My Grandmother is looking for a PC and I thought lenovo would be a pretty decent choice. Good prices and she does not need anything real flashy.

The L412 looks like a pretty good deal and has plenty of power for her. Is there any reason to think about the T series over the L?

If you can get new T series for not more than 50-100$ above L series price then Id say go for T series.
    Sure, compare specs as well.
It will probably be easier to repair and easier to upgrade with T series than with L.
L is quite limited as a ThinkPad as far as Ive seen over intrawebz :D
