    Optical drive locking mechanism broken.

    The locking mechanism for the optical drive on my T420 broke a few days ago. While the optical drive is still reasonably snug without the lock, I am a perfectionist and I have been trying in vain to get that little piece of plastic and spring back into there. Will I need to take apart the laptop to achieve this?

    Was the break your fault? If not, it might be fair to ask Lenovo about fixing it for you.
