When I placed my order, the confirmation page said that I would receive a confirmation email however I did not? Is this normal?

You should have received a confirmation email. If you did not give Lenovo a call to update your email on file.

I'm not sure I received a confirmation email either. On the order complete page there were two codes, one customer number and one order number (something like that). On lenovo's sites there's an Order Status link. Mine was fine even without the email (shipped early too).
