I ordered a T500 on Wednesday but am having thoughts about canceling and getting a T400, what is the time limit to cancel and change my order without being charged anything?

Keep T500 because if you ordered an SXGA+ you can actually see it, and the 6 cell batteries dont extend out the back. Win win. Only disadvantage is that they dont offer a WXGA+ in LED so its a toss up there. With the T400 the LED screens are high res, so again everything is invisible.

I guess it is a hard decision but Id rather have the battery flush.

Call them immediately. If you haven't received notice of shipping you can change the order. I'd get it with the 4 cell if you want it flush. If it doesn't matter then get the 6.

if you dont mind the less powerful graphics card and the lack of display port, get the t400. i think you can cancel the order before it gets shipped

If you are going to be carrying the notebook around a lot (like around campus or work) then the T400 would be better. If you occasionally lug it around and/or play a lot of games, the T500 would be better with the superior graphics card and Display Port.

You can still cancel if you want to as long as it has not shipped yet on the order status page. Just call Lenovo ASAP.

The pixels per inch of WXGA+ is lower than 15.4" WSXGA+.

But for people with bad eyes, they can't focus on every small small pixel thus some are invisible.
Higher DPI means the pixels are going to be a lot smaller...
