    Ordered T400, advice needed

    Hello ladies and gents

    I ordered T400 a week ago, however I have made a mistake with the credit card number, so as of today my order is on hold until I call them up and straighten this out. My dilemma is this, do I still want the T400. I mean it looks great on paper, but I see that a lot of people are having problems with theirs. It's either the LED LCD screen, the wireless card or something else.

    I am a student so I would want this laptop to hold out for at least 2-3 years.
    In addition I used CPP code to order it, so now I also have the problem that if I do call them , I might be running into the possibility of them inquiring about the CPP. If I don't call them within 4 business days, the order will be canceled.

    So what do I do?

    Should I call them and fix the credit card problem and risk the inquiry about the CPP and hope that I won't get the so dreaded Samsung panel etc.

    Or should I look for something else.

    I've got pretty much the exact setup as you. Obviously it depends on the settings that you choose but I generally keep that screen at 14/16 (90% brightness), wifi on maximum power savings, discrete on.

    One note recording + web browsing nets around 3hrs give or take. Discrete off should go for about 4 but I yet to try that.
