Hi, I'm new to the forum and looking to buy a T60 or Z61 when/if they come out soon. Originally I wanted to wait a bit longer as I don't "need" the laptop until about august, but this deal seems just incredible. Please do tell us how you like it, if there are any drawbacks on the system. At such a low price it just makes you think is this too good to be true. I'm impressed that it has a dvd burner. With a Hitachi Travelstar 100gb 72k and up the ram on your own and the system would still come in under $1800. I have read that (most) all T60s and thinkpads in general will have a warranty coverage valid in other countries that have thinkpad hq aka Germany (important for me to know). Does this coverage still exist when not buying directly from www.lenovo.com as in from www.costcentral.com? Enjoy the notebook!

    I got T60 today.
I think this model is exactly same as what lenovo.com sell.
I don't know about the world warranty, but when I check my warranty status in lenovo.com it says I have 3 years warranty.
I think the only difference is refund.
The original price of T60 drops about $100. Check lenovo.com.
I think if you buy it from lenovo.com you can refund it for any reason in a month.
