Last week (Wednesday), I ordered a T61 with Windows Vista Business. I am looking to purchase a NAS system to be used by the T61 and 2 other XP laptops. The problem is that all of the resaonable price NASs (sp?) that I see out there are not Vista compatible. So what should I do?:

1.) Contact Lenovo and have them replaced Vista with XP

2.) Get the T61 with Vista and wait for a NAS Vista compatible system.

    3.) Forget about NAS

4.) If you have XP, can it be placed on a system with Vista? And when accessing NAS, run under XP?

    Thanks

NAS = Network Attached Storage I assume? I was researching them recently and didn't notice any that had that issue - but then again I don't run Vista so I wasn't looking for that. What is your price range and goals for your NAS?

As for the T61, keep it and follow these instructions:

For $50 or less, you get the XP restore discs and can use whichever you prefer.
